If this was six hours long, I would have stayed without even thinking of complaining.
I am emotionally exhausted after watching this. It’s disorienting, anxiety-producing, and absolutely heart-breaking. Much like after watching Soul, I left this movie with a desire to soak up meaningful moments with my family and appreciate little things that bring joy.
The set design, writing, and acting are all top notch. Anthony Hopkins is brilliant. I don’t think I’ll be returning to this any time soon because I don’t think I could handle it, but I would heartily recommend it to others.
