Pete Talbot’s review published on Letterboxd:
With echos of Blood Meridian and The Searchers, Bone Tomahawk tells a brutal tale of the western frontier. I was warned of the graphic nature of some of the action in this film, and I think that build up made it easier to see. It's not quite a zombified western despite having a few of the ingredients for it. The dialogue is pretty folksy, close to the Coen Brothers' True Grit, with a flavor of day to day interactions in the face of traumatic events. Worth a watch, it might not scar you even if you aren't a horror movie person... there is some chopping up of people and talks of cannibalism, however.
