Pete Talbot’s review published on Letterboxd:
While it doesn't perfectly hit the spot, it does a whole lot of character work by almost bypassing a real villain. Sure, it turns out there's a serial killer story mixed in the middle of this thing, but this is all about the Avengers team and the growing roster. Some of the smaller sequences, like the 1991 hit on the country road, tell a whole lot of story with not a lot shown and still look fantastic. The scenes that build the rift in the team are really impressive, they convey a lot in their difference in a short amount of time without feeling contrived.
