Logan Noir Review
Yes it's the same movie as Logan, so in that respect it's a shoe-in for five stars on it's own. The black and white version of this film works without taking away from the experience of the film because it was shot in such a style that it doesn't have problems with over-graying or washing out into unrecognizable darkness. There are a few pleasant surprises from the black and white transfer where dust catches the light in spectacular ways that look better than the color version. Only a few shots lose some detail and the only fix would have been to shoot those scenes in a wide angle lens in the style of Kurosawa, but there were only one or two shots that would have required it.
