I'm marking this that I have watched it before because I think I did and forgot everything about it. That's a real vote of confidence. I decided to give a Philip K. Dick movie a look which means a real mixed bag of expectations. There have been some really garbage movies made of his works but there's almost always a sense of something interesting underlying the story. This movie mostly struggles from some screenwriting issues and casting issues of pairing together Nicolas Cage and Jessica Biel as romantic leads. This thing was doomed from the start. It is a very watchable and oddly enjoyable bad movie. In the end it's a worthwhile endeavor to sit through this thing. That's how every filmmaker wants their movies to be described, as an endeavor.
