Pete Talbot’s review published on Letterboxd:
You know a documentary on an Olympic Games is coming out swinging for the fences when it opens with shots of the rising sun and solar corona and the running of the torch. Through eight mostly dialogue-free vignettes from eight directors we get a look at the Munich games through various events. There is even a snapshot of the terror it’s attack and the affect on the athletes. This looks incredible, fantastic shots of action, out of focus pole vaulting, birds eye view of the marathon, a long shot of a lone weight lifter preparing. I might end up bumping this up a half of a star for the enjoyment level and cool score.
