With the release of Robert Eggers' The Northman I've come to realize that I'm apparently a really big fan of his work. With his films you just get a different sense of cinema. It's enticing the way he directs his stories. From The Witch (2015) to The Lighthouse (2019) I've given all three of his theatrical releases thus far a perfect score. He trulyâŚ

Not nearly as bad as so many claim. Tom Holland put his absolute all into this role. His chemistry with Ciara Bravo felt legitimate and both of them deliver stunning performances. The Russo brothers directed a very stylistic and emotional film, one that definitely hit the right spot for me but I understand why it didnât work for others. What a beautiful, emotional, frenzy filled ride. Greenland is one of the greatest films Iâve seen in 2020. Itâs an epic, I havenât experienced a film like this in a while. I was consistently at the edge of my seat and prepared to see it all come to an unfortunate bleak end. Everything about this film, from the plot to the characters and visuals.
