Made it all the way through with no intermission you big babies

Didn’t realize until just last night how badly I’ve been needing some more Scorsese in my life. After attending the Austin Film fest and seeing a lot of amateur filmmaking (which is by no means a bad thing) it was so incredibly refreshing to see something so large scale pulled off with such expertise. Forgot how fucking absolutely hard this goes. It’s soooooo bleak and hopeless. Characters running from a fate they know they’ll never outrun. I feel like we just don’t get superhero movies that feel as final as Logan does. It feels like Wolverine put in his time and really earned this movie. It’s not even just Wolverine’s swan song here, but all mutants, at least Logan’s generation. So happy this movie exists, love the violence, love the brutality, love the journey.

Shocking that 4 more of these movies and a tv show got made based off this absolute stinker of a movie. Baffling choice after baffling choice from start to finish

After I saw the new trailer for this *ahem* “film”, I wrote my high school persuasive research essay about how shitty, corrupt, uninspired, lazy, and money hungry Disney has become since it’s humble origins. I got an A+

Fuck Disney for making me write that paper
Fuck Disney for making this shit film
    Fuck Disney.

That was fucking fantastic. What a great, well made, thoughtful movie. I want Riz Ahmed to win tonight. (Edit: GG Anthony Hopkins) This movie was genuinely terrifying...

The opening minute of this movie was absolutely perfect. Simultaneously horrific, surreal, anxiety inducing, and eye opening. I’m a drummer as well, I have been for about 4 years, the drum set is my all time favorite instrument, so this movie hit me especially hard. I can’t even imagine how hard it would be…
