Lizzy’s review published on Letterboxd:
A bedside curtain flowing, a flower sat softly on the blacktop. Through the scope of the eye, shadowplay on walls where cloaked figures wake and the run extends in chase and seems to repeat on itself. The staircase frames and the wind blows, reflected off the edge of a blade as the hypnotic drone intensifies and fills the air.
All the power to Maya Deren for putting her singular and admirable vision out there, but surrealism is just not for me.
