why did i, a severely severe arachophobe, decide to watch this film at 2.30am?

anyway, good stuff, andrew garfield plays one of the most convincing awkward nerds I've seen on screen.

    Captain America: The Winter Soldier

Of all of Marvel's films, the Winter Soldier is the only one I can rewatch over and over again without getting bored. Not only does the plot of the film seamlessly weave into the previous and future films of Marvel's impressive franchise, but the central characters are each very well-developed and the film impressively introduces new characters (and variations of characters) Sam Wilson (Falcon) and Bucky Barnes (Winter Soldier). Aside from the narrative and character development, the Winter Soldier's cinematography is beautifully directed.
