Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood

Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood ★★★★½

I fucking love most of this movie, the reason why I say most is because I really didn't care for how unneeded the Sharon Tate sequences were to this film. If I cut out the lame extra scenes, this film would be perfect for how unstoppable the performances given by Leo and Brad are. Their chemistry of being best friends in this overall fake town makes me feel like I could be a part of this story. There is an amazing suspenseful scene with Brad Pitt going on the movie ranch that feels like it was plucked right out of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. This film is so creepy and the altering they did to real life events works flawlessly. The ending makes for one of the most exciting thrills I've ever had in a movie theater and the mood Tarantino sets makes this a film that won't be forgotten.
