I watch movies.
It would be weird if I was on this site and I didn't.
Man, I rewatched this one in 4K and it is absolutely the way the movie begs to be seen. It brings a new life to the colors and even the darkness in the film that other home video releases have not been able to replicate.
The movie is a blast, our introduction to the badass Riddick who owns the film. You all know the story by now. In my humble opinion, this is essential sci-fi/action for any fan.
Wow, I don't even know what to say about The Blade other than I'm blown away. Tsui Hark takes The One-Armed Swordsman concept and makes it his own. Wonderfully dynamic and frenetic direction as one expects from Hark. The fights are off the hook, some really awesome and creative stuff going on here.
Loved every minute of it, big thanks to all that recommended me this film! In turn, I am recommending it to you!
Oh hell yes, Timo does it yet again!
This time with a action/comedy hybrid.
Where The Night Comes for Us was bleak and violent as fuck this one is funny...and violent as fuck.
Not all of the screwball comedy landed for me but who gives a shit, 99% of the movie whups ass and that's all I need.
A good time, recommended!
