My dad goes on and on about his favourite finnish TV movies from the 1970's, and this is one of them. I decided to give it a go after hearing about it non-stop for years and when I saw it's available on Yle Areena.

Wong Kar-Wai’s Happy Together was one of the defining films of my teenage years and it’s wack that I never thought about watching any of his other work. I’ve gotta catch up!

Watched at Night Visions film festival in Helsinki.

This film has nice colourful visuals, but pretty much nothing else going for it. Plot is unoriginal and childish, dialogue is pseudo-deep incoherent babbling and the film fails to deliver any interesting commentary of the themes it tries to cover. And it's not bad enough to be funny-bad. All in all a frustrating thing to watch.

Watched this in a barn in the middle of Finnish nowhere during a DIY festival-ish event. I thoroughly enjoyed the film and it's music, visuals and overall goofiness.
