So good. The interesting, wonderfully absurd side episodes are the real highlight – instead of feeling like a distraction from the main story, they in fact prevent it from feeling slightly undercooked by providing crucial thematic filling. While some of the movie's detours feel more compelling than others, there's a constant whimsical energy to it that just makes you excited to see what happens next.
(was cool to see this at Cinema Orion with the fantastic introduction, which definitely helped me appreciate all the complexities and dimensions of the film!)
