I just really like movies.
The medical aspect of this story hits a bit different now after two years of COVID...
That aside, I found this to be a very engaging drama about the struggles of maintaining a marriage when one party's job takes so much of their time. Ronald Colman and Helen Hayes make a great couple, and both give very fine performances. There were also a number of artistically inspired visual/cinematographic choices in the second half. If I have any complaints, they are that Colman was a bit too old for his role, and the story threads could have been fleshed out a little more (Myrna Loy, for instance).
