Robert Hayes’s review published on Letterboxd:
"In Xanadu did Kubla Khan
A stately pleasure-dome decree:
Where Alph, the sacred river, ran
Through caverns measureless to man
Down to a sunless sea."
Yes, the plot was practically non-existent. What it had going for it, and perhaps which explains its cult status, was the style and a ton of catchy music. Eye and ear candy all the way. #RIP Olivia Newton-John
[Extra points for the film actually quoting the Coleridge poem]
