never seen a movie that delivers a constant (constant!) stream of rape and murder in an attempt to depict "historically accurate" white colonial violence, only to clumsily insinuate in between every violent act that racial hierarchy is not a necessary grammar in colonial violence as violence is universal across all races by repeatedly drawing equals between the suffering and loss of one irish woman and the genocide of an entire aboriginal race.
