Call Me by Your Name

Call Me by Your Name ★★★★½

there’s something about youth that luca understands so deeply, maybe i was too deep in the feelings elio had during that time to understand what this film was back then but it depicts the feeling of introversion and first love so vividly. the weird attachment you get to that person and wanting to be wherever they are, the change in your walk, the unhealthy obsession that sort of comes with it, the tunnel vision of emotion which makes you unable to see anything but them and the pain when it inevitably leaves. none of it is explained but it’s all felt, the feeling is so universal that it doesn’t have to be.
