i’ll probably push this rating up after mediating on this movie and maybe after a rewatch but peele did it again, complete different vibe from get out and much more ambitious in storytelling and character development. lupita performs her life off especially but the whole cast is killing it, even the young actors. and it’s solidly entertaining as a horror/thriller but behind all that there are just layers to pick at just like get out but executed in a completely different way. what jordan peele is doing right now in horror reminds me of early career m. night; making solid entertaining movies without sacrificing the right to let his own voice through and treating the audience on a similar level as themselves , just hope he has a longer streak.
