If I loved Ghost Protocol more than I remembered, I didn't love Rogue Nation as much as I remembered. But then maybe that's the fallout (get it?) of watching M:I films in a row -- patterns start to emerge, then you begin to notice a formula. Christopher McQuarrie is the king of modern macho cinema, and it's great how he brings back the badassery to the franchise. Most people hate the ending, but I actually love how downplayed and dramatic it was with Solomon Lane just shooting at the glass box and everyone kind of gloating around him.
