    I Care a Lot

Manipulative, interesting, and unique in it's execution, I Care a Lot is a dark comedy and commentary on capitalism. The film does a fantastic job showing how far individuals are willing to go for profit in a capitalist system. However, we didn't really get to see the consequence of many actions that took place throughout the film which left me feeling unsatisfied by the ending.

I Care a Lot has been divisive with a 36% audience score and a 80%…

Ever since I watched Seven Samurai, which was my first Kurosawa film, I fell in love in his work. There's something about the way he creates his films that really resonates with me.

Sometimes when I sit to watch a movie it can be really difficult to focus. Sometimes I start to feel depressed and anxious, the feeling of melancholy starts to go through my entire body and I'm unable to enjoy myself. I frequently pause movies and I struggle…

    The Queen's Corgi

I watched Perfect Blue today, but somehow this movie had the most horrific sexual assault scene of the day.

Edit: This film has some weird assault sequences that lead to the dogs owner being upset with him. It's never addressed, and it's uncomfortable.

    Jungle Cruise

Overall, the Jungle Cruise was alright.

I grew up visiting Walt Disney World, and it still holds a very special place in my heart. I grew up looking at park maps, watching imagineering videos (including the vacation planning DVDs that always had amazing trivia games about the parks), and watching every Disney film possible, trying to find ways to bring the "Disney magic" home with me, even as a young child.

Years later, after I've grown up, Disney introduces the…

Film nine of my Godzilla vs Kong marathon.
    (Team Kong all the way)

I have mixed feelings on this one. I want to love this because it's Peter Jackson, but there are so many problems with this movie. You can really see Jacksons passion for the original film, even though it lead to a few awkward references that felt out of place. King Kong also came at a strange time in Jackson's career. It was released between the beloved LOTR…

    The Mummy Returns

Even though I'm a 2000s kid, I didn't grow up with at lot of the classic 2000s adventure movies (Besides Journey To The Center of The Earth, that was my shit).

Recently I've watched Nation Treasure, National Treasure 2, The Mummy, and now, The Mummy Returns. There's something so fun and nostalgic about The Mummy Returns even though I didn't grow up with it. Don't get me wrong, the film has huge issues. But these issues are pretty easy to…
