Quinn Henderson’s review published on Letterboxd:
The only moment of relief I felt in this film designed to generate constant tension and dread was when John C. Reilly was dancing with the daughter and the camera briefly panned to his feet revealing he was wearing Adidas slides. Seeing this reminded me of the comfort my Adidas slides bring me. Truly the perfect piece of footwear. Ideal as both sandals and as leisurewear. My slides are the Adilette Cloudfoam ones. Like walking on a pair of pillows. For me Cloudfoam is the only way to go. My last pair had Velcro adjustable straps as well, but I think they discontinued the model. A shame for sure because the adjustability just gave another venue to control comfort and create the ideal footwear experience. Wait, what was I talking about?
