It's amazing how Almodovar can make these films where the most absurd stuff happens and yet still make everything feel somewhat grounded. John Waters could have made this film and everyone would be screaming at each other but these characters are like, "Oh yeah, the would-be rapist has psychic powers that will lead us to the couple having sex suicide" and everyone just rolls with it like it's normal.
Enjoyed the director cameo, too.
(Oh, and uh ... I watched this movie in the intervals when my husband and I were trying to get our son to sleep sans breast so ... the breastfeeders movie watch club may be over. @_@)
