Pretty buzzkilly of me to callously oversimplify what was generally a reasonably fun movie, but I just can’t shake how much of a buzzkill it was when I realised the whole 90 minute middle act was just gonna be a particularly meh marvel movie - even the same lame comedy beats, just with a slightly more culturally specific comedic license.

Last Night in Soho 2021
I can only assume Ed is pining after a 15 year old, because that’s the only explanation fitting such a feeble attempt to prove he understands women. Also terrifying, bcs I was really hoping by the time I’d watched as many movies as Mr Wright that I too would understand women.
