At a loss for words so I'll put it like this:

Riceboy Sleeps had a firm grip on my attention from the very first shot of the movie, a beautiful and almost magical image.

When the movie ended, I was still in some sort of trance that made me immobile as the credits were slowly passing by.

Choosing to watch this film despite not knowing anything about it turned out to be one of the best decisions ever.

Nolan made these 3 hours filled with dialogue feel like some of the most suspenseful and interesting hours you could possibly spend. The way that the camera, the score, the acting and the dialogue all correspond with each other in such harmony is something that I cannot describe, but luckily I don't have to because watching Oppenheimer yourself is the best way to understand that.

Man this is so good, still easily one of my favorite horror movies. At one point we reached the first hour mark and it didn't feel nearly as long. It's a movie that flies by even though the plot uses the entire runtime to slowly develop the horror of this story.

    Scavenger Hunt #62 - May 2020 - 30/31

Birdman is one of my favorite movies because of the way they tell this story. It's a masterpiece when it comes to dialogue, acting, camerawork and aspect. It's a great story with meaning and strong scenes. There's humor, tension and such powerful creativity.

While watching it, it would've gotten 100%, which is extremely rare. However, my opinion changed at the end of the movie. The story gets a really powerful ending, but…
