    “1917” is not only the greatest war movie I’ve ever seen, but it stands shoulder to shoulder among the greatest films I’ve seen in general. This film balances humanity and destruction in a way I’ve never seen before, showing the perseverance of man with the right cause and also the most awful things that we’re capable of. Any war film could attempt to do this, and many that are considered great have, but i think “1917” stands above the rest…
