Really surprised this movie has been largely forgotten. Pretty incredible to think it came out only 8 months after the assassination of MLK Jr.
Absolutely incredible. I went in with the expectation that it was going to be a hot mess but at least have cool enough moments to forgive it, but right now I'm wondering how the majority of critics could be so wrong. This is now my second favorite film by Gilliam. It has everything I love by him, and the pacing of the script is pretty incredible. I love the way it builds on itself.
Thank you, Gilliam, for never giving up on your vision.
