Ross Bembenek’s review published on Letterboxd:
When the zombie action and the actual heist stuff is happening, this is pretty fun. Outside of that it’s about 30 minutes too long and falls victim to what I call Zack Snyder Syndrome: a dumb movie that thinks it’s an incredibly smart one. When Snyder is just going with the crazy zombie vibes this movie works really well, but he gets bogged down in trying to create poetic, mythological imagery. It’s watchable and fun for stretches, but like all Zack Snyder movies it gets caught up in its own ego.
