This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

Very interesting court room drama. Excellent child actor. Excellent dog actor (no seriously... I thought they must have drugged him to get that effect... but they didn't) and Sandra Hüller was incredible.

As a film it was great. As a winter film it was beautiful.

As a representation of the courts, lets just say if the French court is really run that way I'd prefer to be indicted elsewhere please!

    But I'm a Cheerleader

This film wasn't for me, some of the jokes worked but most I just didn't gel with.

I'm not a fan of teenage films and haven't been since my mid-20's and I'm far too jaded for romance. Natasha, Clea and Ru Paul were great and I'm warmed by the fact that Natasha and Clea are still very close.

    The end was cute.

There were definitely great parts in this but I felt the midwife role was an afterthought. And wasn't played to Watt's full potential either.

I can't place my finger on why, but the film felt a bit safe to me.

    The Green Knight

Visually vast, spectacular and often surreal.
It travels from the original story so you may be happier going in with a fresh slate. As an Arthurian legend you might be expecting joviality and adventure. Don't.

This is a thing to experience for what it is, not as a comparison to what you had hoped for.
