A visual journey through her daily intolerance and rebellion, struggling for indipendence while carrying on her early passion for cinema and her beloved cineclub, perfectly intertwining beautifully shot landacapes and close-ups with documentary footage and films of the last years of the Stalin era, mixing historical and personal memories

Riconciliarsi. Trovare nell'incontro con l'Altro il senso della perdita. La perdita di un figlio (della giovane operatrice della casa di riposo), della moglie (dell'anziano in cura). La distanza tra due persone così diverse si accorcia nella perdita e nella ricerca: cercarsi tra campi armoniosi, in mezzo a siepi dalle geometrie perfette, sotto fruscii delicati degli alberi, e perdersi nel caos della foresta, imprevedibile, piena d'acqua e fango, come in un'esplosione della natura, che è anche specchio dell'equilibrio emotivo dei personaggi, portati (e noi spettatori con loro) alla catarsi, nel luogo (anche psicologico) dove porre fine al lutto.
