There are so many things to say about this but I’m just in awe of how perfect the casting is from start to finish.

Just so we're clear, the 1 1/2 star is for Brad Pitt (who has always been funny; please revisit Burn After Reading), and because the film does a fine job of immersing you in the setting. But there is no good reason for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood to exist, and I actually find its existence to be harmful and regressive in 2019.
