Not really a Paranormal Activity movie… but WAY better than the last one. If this didn’t fumble or overdo basically every scare in the movie it would probably be really solid. Had a good enough time with it!

I enjoyed this movie for the same reasons why my wife didn’t enjoy it as much, and I completely understand both sides. This movie - while it does have emotional elements, is fairly hollow at its core. It spends more time on what happened instead of lingering too much on the who and why. If it wasn’t such an incredibly well directed movie, this would bother me a bit more.

God, this movie fucking rules. I’m so bummed that Halloween didn’t end up as an anthology series like this, that would have been so killer. My second favorite Halloween film behind the first. It’s just so much fun! Also, just inject that Carpenter soundtrack directly into my veins.
