Bradley’s review published on Letterboxd:
I'm going to have a hard time articulating how I feel about what I just watched, so I'll just rattle a few things off.
That was probably one of the wildest films I've ever seen, and Robert Eggers has pretty much solidified himself as one of the most talented directors working today. The performances from Dafoe and Pattinson are nothing short of incredible. They're both absolutely delirious madmen and I loved every single second of it. Farts and all.
From a technical aspect, it's perfect - I mean that. The camera work, the scene framing, the sound design, the black and white, the clausterphobic aspect ratio, all of it. I wouldn't have it any other way.
This is one of those films that while you're watching it, you know it's something truly special that'll be remembered for years to come.
