Letterboxd — Your life in film

A film with this kind of delicate poetry can only be made in France. Hits almost everything, Makes you wonder and provides a story... maybe not one for everyone but one that has many sides and allows you to be the judge of it.

Animators: "but she has memory loss, we don't thin-"

More like Mrs. Incredibley Thicc. So many shots consisted of the camera being behind her. The animators knew what we wanted.

Anyway, while the mechanics of the movie were very well done, the story was definitely lacking. But I was very impressed by the creativity in which a lot of the powers were used, especially when it came to Elastigirl. Before this movie, I never would have wanted "super elasticity" to be my superpower. Now I think it's pretty amazing!

They had us in the first half, not gonna lie.

I honestly can't help but feel like this movie would be so so much better without any dialogue. Like this movie is absolutely gorgeous, but ALL of the dialogue falls flat. Imagine how creative and interesting this movie would be if there was no dialogue, everything was visual cues and musical cues.

I think we need a ridiculous action flick from time to time. We have gotten so many serious and “cinematic universe” setups recently it’s refreshing to have a fun action movie to just sit back relax and shovel your face with pop corn.

I liked it, but I didn't love it. It's shot beautifully. For a film about architecture it really understands the 'architecture' of a frame. I just wish I found the characters as interesting as the buildings. I can see why people might love it though.

Such a fresh look at AI in Sci-fi. I had a fun time with this.

A genuinely cunning psychological thriller. The reason I like this movie so much is because we still get what we were promised, A whodunnit with an excellent twist. It's a fun, raucous ride, with more than its share of chills and thrills.
