Oh Batman if I am racist, then answer me, who was in Paris?
Batman to Gordon:
Can I have the permission to say it?
The Batman is an absolute pleasing (in a cinematic way) portrayal of a festering cesspool representing Gotham. The way they design the city is reminiscent of the Joker's production. Batman's ways of handling this suppurating town was horrific but justified. Bruce Wayne is still haunted by the sudden death of his parents and the cinematography just beautifully captures that mood. Wonderful adaptation of a character that is often overshadowed by a complex characterisation of the main villian.
