    Let Him Go

Finished watching Let Him Go and it's a western-gothic crime thriller with a North Western setting. This film blends noir, drama, and suspense to create a generally searing character study. The performances are generally powerful all around especially with Diane Lane and Kevin Costner. Costner and Lane give emotional depth as well as a real sense of genuineness and urgency while in character. They feel haunted with grief by the death of their son, yet are driven by a strong…

  • Fatman

The Fatman is one crazy twisted story on the classic Christmas story. Mel Gibson as the grumpy Chris Kringle is hilarious and is scary. Definitely you have the classic christmas trope but what makes it different is giving it a dangerous edge to it. Walton Goggins as the assassin for hire who has a personal beef with Gibson's Fatman definitely levels the antics. You also get a small mix of that spaghetti western which was nice. This version of Santa Clause just going all out balls to the wall perfect and Gibson makes the character likeable.

    Justice League Dark: Apokolips War

I just finished watching Justice League Dark: Apokolips War and I will say what a well crafted storyline I feel pushed the limits for all the characters and giving it a bookend storyline. This is far superior to the 2017 Justice League for sure. This version had they shot in live action I would've watched it and that's how good this animated film is. The action and the humor as well steal the show in this film. The pacing, animation…

    Godzilla: King of the Monsters

Godzilla: King of the Monsters finally a Godzilla film where the Monsters finally get to shine and you see them in action full glory. It is definitely a continuation from the 2014 Gareth Edwards film where you see the buildup of Monsters about to battle but they cut away from the action. Here in this sequel we finally see Godzilla facing of against other titans especially against King Ghidorah. Michael Dougherty who work with Bryan Singer writing the screenplays for…
