Couldn't finish this one because the first 20 minutes or so are ungodly atrocious that all I could do was sneer at my screen mumbling curse words. The children's "acting skills" are dreadful, yet not as dreadful as the editing. While the dialogue is suspended somewhere in between.
Renoir's The River probably turns out to be a decent film but I was unable to overcome the initial hurdle of ineptitude.
