If I could rate this 10 stars I would.

    The Hateful Eight

Just finished the extended version which I liked way more than the theatrical cut. The characters are far more fleshed out, there are more clever set ups and foreshadowing. It's a different experience from the film and worth a watch for both fans and those who've never seen it.

NOTE: There was one frame that wasn't rendered in episode 3 which was very odd. Please fix that Netflix. This crew didn't bust their asses to shoot this in 70mm just to have an intern not render the export properly.

    If Beale Street Could Talk

Another emotional powerhouse from Barry Jenkins. The performances, Britell's score, the naturalistic camera work and lighting were all beautiful. The films handling of sensitive subject matter, from rape, to racism, to the corruption of the criminal justice system, was very tasteful and realistic. I was left wanting more from certain characters and subplots but this film is such a well crafted punch to the heart, it is easy to look over it's lesser moments.

    High Life

A non-linear high concept sci-fi horror sex revenge thriller. It was awesome!

I wish the dialogue writing had been a bit better, and some of the performances were shoddy. Overall, this film has a really original story and great atmosphere.

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

I saw Iron Man in a theater when I was 10 years old. All these years later fans have come to expect a lot from these films. For a film that had to be so many things for so many different people, the Russo's did a solid job developing this universe and giving certain characters the proper send off.
Tony Stark’s development over these years, from selfish cocky billionaire, to a man willing sacrificing everything for the greater good, is…

Not as good as Bring It On 6 but Rihanna's music video at the very end makes the whole film worth it.

I like the part when Timon said the bug tasted like chicken. Haha how would he know? The rest of the movie was pretty good too.

A beautifully crafted nightmare. As a fan of Noe's previous work this is one of my favorite things he has done. Regardless of it's disturbing content it is an impressive achievement both technically and performance wise. This is certainly not for everyone but it's hard to ignore the craft of it.
