There are parts of this movie that were definitely right up my alley. The booming soundtrack, the absolute gore-fest that happens, and the mystery itself was very engaging, but there were a few things that just held this back from being a solid horror film.

Lularoe is trainwreck that I haven't been able to look away from since that Vice report a few years ago. I've always considered MLMs as more of an annoyance than anything. This film upset me. The content of course is upsetting. Starving and dying children is heartbreaking, but this doc seems like it would rather just gawk at the children's (and their family's) pain rather than provide more context to the situation. It does nothing to paint a picture so to speak on the crisis in Yemen. Why are they at war? Why are all these children developing gluten allergies? Why does aid have trouble getting in? They don't even tell us anything about the medical professionals we follow aside from their names. They did the bare minimum.

I too would enjoy walking through a park covered in LED lights with Oscar Isaac.
