“We r over” followed by the tyler, the creator needle drop had me rolling
so concerned about forwarding a beat for beat narrative with every passing scene that it throws any and all emotion out the window, scurrying to pick up its own mess as it goes along until it all just kinda crumbles. a desperate attempt to reaffirm the Star Wars status quo previously shattered by The Last Jedi. the fact that it fails this hard is only a testament to how well Rian Johnson did.
my dick will never be hard again
This film prompted me to dig out an old cell phone I haven’t used in two and a half years, and I found voicemails from my mother who died in April of 2014. I didn’t recognize her voice.
