Not my cup of tea. The only character I ended up caring about was Waymond.

That said, there were some redeeming qualities for sure. The visual effects and cinematography were incredible. The acting performances were solid. There were some good jokes.

The film for me just falls flat on its face when it comes to the point they were trying to drive home with it. I found it very predictable and overdone.

I really wanted to love this movie. Argh!

A good film… in moments. It struggled to capture me as a cohesive piece. I would really like more Mum and Daughter movies though. This definitely made me develop an appetite for those!

This movie crescendos so nicely. Oh boy did they nail the landing on this. I absolutely loved the final act. The heart is well and truly warmed. <3

That said, nothing particularly mind-blowing from a filmmaking standpoint. Just a good, important story treated with respect and care. Sometimes that's all it takes. More representation in cinema please!

I loved the world that this movie created. I was deeply invested in the town-people. This deep investment along with Bill Murray’s fantastic acting performance made this such a fun watch!

Really wish I liked this more. Undeniably visually stunning. Some of the sequences were absolutely breathtaking. The storytelling though felt a little messy to me. The first act was my favourite. I think the second act was strong too. The third act got a little convoluted for my liking.

A movie with a lot of heart. Some of the execution missed the mark for me but I consistently felt the heartbeat. Certainly a worthwhile watch — it will leave you thinking, feeling, and wanting more.
