Utterly fantastic. I am always a sucker for when a director works on such a personal story, and here it creates the perfect potion of emotion, regret, and reconciliation. Beginning with the transfixing image and ending with a beautiful sentiment, I loved every moment of this. I clearly need to do more Almodovar. I don’t think I’ve ever felt more relieved at the sight of a flushing toilet.
