Raventomb’s review published on Letterboxd:
There's so much to comment on here. So many interesting approaches and ideas simmering under the screen, that it could easily take a week-full of re-watching and discussion to give it fair due, and then there's Joaquin Phoenix, who is as affably spellbinding as he is colourful and understated.
Some of the commentary on relationships rings so loud and true, it hurts your ears but then, there's so many beautifully placed songs to soothe the pain.
For me at least, this is as life-affirmingly poignant as cinema has been since the spotless mind bathed in eternal sunshine.
