Sixty-eighth movie in 52 Feature films by women 2020.
It took it being on Nicola's syllabus for a class, but we did it!
Honestly much more active than I had anticipated and been led to believe, nothing of note happens necessarily, but a lot happens.
I was reminded of what I said about The Color of Pomegranates feeling like the cinematic equivalent of ambient music if I didn't find ambient music engaging, because this is the cinematic equivalent of ambient music that I do find engaging. Mostly at least, it definitely gets harder as it goes on and we just hold on Jeanne sitting in a chair for what feels like 3 minutes straight.
