I feel bad for not watching this back in November. Not just because it's a film to watch during Thanksgiving but because it is one amazing comedy film that I loved watching. The story is very well-told, the cinematography is great, the musical score is fantastic, the humor gets many laugh-out-loud laughs, the direction is solid, there are some really shockingly funny moments that had my jaw dropped, the emotional moments are surprisingly effective, sweet and heart-warming, and the best thing about the film is the performances are amazing from everyone especially from Steve Martin and John Candy who both have fantastic chemistry with each other and are very funny together. To be honest I don't have any issues with the film. Overall it's just a fantastic comedy that has so much to enjoy. Even if Thanksgiving has passed already you should watch this film at least before Christmas. It's absolutely worth watching for a good laugh and even if you've seen the film go and watch it again and it only proves how John Huges was such a master at making comedies.
