I love horror films. I’ve consumed more horror than any other genre. Yet only 3 horror films have ever genuinely scared me beyond the final credits, one of those recently:
TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE
HEREDITARY is a sickening, yet intimate, study of grief and repetitive patterns in familial mental health. I couldn’t look away, ever, though I wanted to at several points. Ari Aster has carved his way into horror filmmaking history with this outing. What a tremendous film.
