Minari ★★★★½

“I’ll take care of us.”

I wish more filmmakers would do what Lee Isaac Chung did with this, and make semi autobiographical films about their own life experiences, especially if it turns out anywhere near as beautiful and delicate as this was. The cinematography, the screenplay, the acting; all of it was amazing. Chung was able to take a piece of his life and turn it into one of the most genuine, compassionate and heart filled experiences I’ve had in a while. I was really blown away by this.

Steven Yeun better be THRUSTED into that best actor category.
