This has to be one of the most monumentally dissapointing films that has come out thus far in the year of 2020. This film had so much going for it, a great cast, a great tense feeling and a possibly fantastically told story. The thing is that this film never truly does enough to justify its own existence and by the end you don't really know what you just watched.
Of course Ashton Sanders and Jeffrey Wright have a fantastic dynamic in this film and offer compelling performances but neither do enough for you to remember them in any remote way. All Day and a Night is a monumentally dissapointing thriller that severely underutilizes its fantastic cast and never truly justifies its own existence in any remote way.
