Narratively important, but takes a few fumbles in execution. There are quite a few logical errors within this script and the lead (Vivian) is incessantly annoying and unlikable (I would've much preferred anyone else as the protagonist.) Poehler shows promise as a filmmaker and it suprised me how well she handled this story, as she seems like a strange pick to direct a project like Moxie.
Robinson does well considering the material she was given, but her character is the most annoying of the year thus far (and I've seen a lot of movies.) Pascual is really good and should've been the main protagonist of this story (she experiences both racism and sexism, focusing on her perspective would expand the narrative.) Though a little uneven, Moxie is still a solid feel-good movie that I'd recommend.
