  Gunn somehow managed to get the most gut wrenching, emotional response out of me that no one has come close to in a long time. All from a marvel product no less.

  I don’t want to sound like reaction bias but I honestly don’t think I can remember the last piece of fictional media that left me (I’m not kidding) quivering with tears.

  Police Story 2 1988

  The middle does become quite a slog since it’s a lot more dragged out and less comedically influenced as the predecessor.

  I found myself asking “when are they gonna get to the fireworks factory?”, for which the film actually has its final showdown at a fireworks factory.
